For the shrimp:
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- ½ tsp Old Bay seasoning
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
For the salad:
- ½ cup celery, finely chopped
- ½ tsp green bell pepper, finely chopped
- ½ cup red onion, finely chopped
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Creole mustard
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Cook the shrimp:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season shrimp with Old Bay and cayenne pepper.
Cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Let cool completely.
In a large bowl, combine celery, green bell pepper, and red onion.
Make the dressing:
In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Creole mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper.
